At the Scarlet Knight Chapter of RHA, we intentionally embrace an inverted organization chart to reflect our core belief: leadership is not about being at the top—it’s about giving back to those you represent. This structure is a visual representation of how we view leadership within RHA and NRHH—as a foundation that empowers, supports, and uplifts our communities.

Rather than placing titles at the peak, we anchor the chart with our RHA and NRHH presidents and leadership teams at the bottom. This symbolizes that their purpose is to serve as the grounding force—providing stability, direction, and support for the hall governments and the broader residential population they represent.

Hall Governments sit at the center of the chart—connected to both leadership and the residential community—because they act as bridges for advocacy, engagement, and connection within each building. And at the very top, you’ll find our general residents—not because they lead, but because they are the reason we lead. Every decision, program, and initiative is rooted in creating an
inclusive, welcoming, and empowering experience for them.

This inverted model challenges traditional hierarchies by reinforcing that true leadership is about service, intentionality, and impact. It reminds every student leader that the greatest strength of their position lies not in authority, but in their commitment to elevating others.
