Care Package FAQs

Thank you for your interest in our Care Package program. Your participation supports this student organization directly. We also understand that sending a Care Package to your child is very important to supporting him/her. Below, you can find answers to some of the questions or concerns you may have about the Care Package program.

What is the RPO/BPO/DPO/CPO/LPO number that is required?
We actually do not need that number.  All care packages are delivered in-person by our members to ensure delivery.  All we need is your child's room number and residence hall/apartment name. We are currently working with On-Campus Marketing to fix this typo.

My child lives in Helyar House and does not have a room number yet.  Will it be delivered?
Yes.  All care packages are delivered in-person by our Hall Government members, including Helyar House. Since Helyar is such as closely-knit community, the members of their Hall Government will easily be able to locate your child. For the room number, you may leave that blank if you do not yet have it.

My child is planning to change residence halls/apartments after he/she moves in.  What should I put down as his/her housing information?
Put down his/her current room number and building assignment.  Then place a small star on the card to let us know he/she is planning to move.  We will confirm your child's housing assignment before delivery.

What if my child has food allergies? Will I be able to substitute items?
Absolutely! Send us an email at RutgersRHA@gmail.com and we will put you in contact with a representative from the company that provides us with the care packages.

If you have any further questions, feel free to email us at RutgersRHA@gmail.com or send us a message in the Contact Us page.

Thank you again for your support.
